Account Executive

Responsibilities
· Lead direct sales of services in defined territory generating profitable sales on new and existing accounts.
· Develop field sales plans that support increased sales from territory (or region, if applicable) by utilizing available resources.
· Identify business opportunities, assess customer needs, and matches these with services to acquire new business.
· Promote and sell AIT services to meet sales targets and generate revenue.
· Respond to customer needs and requirements with the appropriate service.
· Maintain a high-level of customer service with existing customers and leverages relationships to expand business.
· Develop relationships with new clients by prospecting and responding to business development leads.
· Monitor and review customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.
· Provide service information and follow up on quotes to close business.
· Partner with local, district, and regional management to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promoted.
· Coordinate sales efforts with inside sales and provides flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product management.
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of directly related experience. 3 – 7 years experience preferred.
· Typically requires BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Advanced degree may be substituted for experience.
· Maintain a strong professional image at all times.
· Must be self-starter, highly-organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
